An all-Italian brand, leader in the beauty and cosmetic industry at home and abroad, on Friday 19 October, Collistar celebrated its 30th anniversary with a grand event at the Officine della Torneria, in the heart of Milan.
Chili PR helped to organise the event in conjunction with Collistar’s PR Office.
Those in attendance were surrounded by the world of Collistar, thanks to an exciting route marked by “beauty icons” who used the brand from its beginning and played a role in its success from the 80s up until today. It was an occasion to go over its history, which intertwines with the history of Italian beauty, through the evolution of style, aesthetics and make-up in different decades and to present projects for the future.
Guests attended the press conference held by Daniela Sacerdote, founder and CEO of Collistar since 1983, who emphasised the fundamental stages of the brand’s history, marked by innovation, research and Italian excellence. The new products of 2013 were also presented.
Gold was featured on most occasions, and is the luxurious colour chosen for the 2013 collection. Iconic products such as make-up, the famous Pure Lipstick with the logo imprinted on the stick turned into Gold Iconic Lipstick, and beauty products for the face and body, including Talasso Gold Scrub, were brought up-to-date with the colour gold.
Unveiled for last was the new colour palette of Collistar make-up, journalists were able to try in person at the make-up station.
Another important development is expansion of the internationalisation of the Collistar brand. Already available in Europe, the Orient and South America, its market is constantly growing as quality Italian products are exported to new markets.
