Last 19 November, Enoteca Cotti, a Milanese food and wine landmark since 1952, hosted a special evening of tasting fine Amarone and Valpolicella wines of the Tedeschi family. This traditional reality of Valpolicella has ties with the territory dating back to 1630.
The agency looked after the details of the event. It was an exclusive time for the Milanese, during which the zone of Valpolicella was celebrated for its bounty of exceptional wines and foods, particularly the well-known Amarone with Name of Origin Controlled and Guaranteed status, Capitel San Rocco Ripasso and Valpolicella Maternigo of the Tedeschi winery.
The name Tedeschi has always been synonymous with Valpolicella, because for generations the family has been passionately dedicated to the vineyards on these hillsides. Here the microclimate is particularly suited for growing extraordinary, potent, elegant wines with great personality, the fruit of constant commitment, enhancement and love for one’s land.
While at the tasting, Sabrina Tedeschi talked about the personality of their wines to the guests and went on to tell them about her family history.
The pleasant evening was concluded with a speciality of the winery of Verona, Grappa di Amarone Capitel Monte Olmi, accompanied by Amedei dark chocolate wafers.
